Huge exhaust gas flow and low backpressure are critical for delivering high horsepower, crisp turbocharger response and great gas mileage. The true 3" APS high output stainless steel exhaust system excels on all counts.

Twin 3" tubing Crafted in premium 304 stainless steel and precision TIG welded, the APS exhaust system is designed to perform at the most extreme power levels. Careful attention to tube diameter, smooth radius mandrel bends and advanced muffler design is essential for high performance. With 20 years of experience in exhaust system design, we have built a superb exhaust system for the C5 Corvette.

By dissipating the hot exhaust gasses more efficiently, the APS High Output exhaust also lowers the thermal load on vital engine components such as pistons, combustion chambers, valves etc., particularly at high horsepower levels.

The end result is a 3" twin exhaust system that produces high outright horsepower with far stronger low to mid range torque (greater power and torque under the curve). And best of all, improved turbo response (Zero lag) and maximum durability.

Careful attention has been paid to exhaust noise and note without compromising outright performance. A strong but subdued exhaust note that leaves no doubt there is a big cube Twin Turbocharged V8 under the hood - yet very refined with no drone at highway cruise and well matched to the dynamics of the Corvette.

Internally, each muffler is designed for maximum flow and the absolute minimum flow restriction possible - whilst still performing the task of attenuating the exhaust sound pulses. Exhaust gasses that enter through the 3" muffler intake flange travel through a straight section of 3" perforated exhaust tube that dissipates sound pulses through to the muffler sound deadening material inside the main muffler chamber. The exhaust gasses are then turned through a 3" solid wall tubing section for maximum flow and then split into twin 2.5" perforated tubes - for a straight shot exit into the muffler outlet pipes. By employing this internal muffler design, exhaust gas flow passes through solid wall pipe when turned and perforated pipe in the straight - hence achieving the least restriction possible. This muffler design also achieves a glorious exhaust note that must be heard to be believed - the best possible performance with the fantastic sound!

The APS High Output Exhaust System mates perfectly to the stock pipe flange position just forward of the rear axle and is the ideal upgrade to any high horsepower forced induction system (Twin Turbocharged or Supercharged) on the C5 Corvette.

For total peace of mind and bullet-proof, leak free operation, the APS High Output Exhaust System utilizes true 3" 4 bolt stainless steel race flanges at each muffler entry. In addition, each 3" exhaust flange is precision TIG welded at both the internal and external exhaust pipe mating faces. This ensures the best exhaust gas flow performance and very high durability.

The APS High Output system is engineered as a complete system including every nut, bolt and gasket required for installation.
